COVID
We have some resources here for COVID compliance.
Please see our blog on the requirements for recording visitors for many businesses when you open on April 12 2021.
Many businesses, especially hospitality buinesses (including pubs) are opening for outdoor table service. Most customers will need to register either with the NHS COVID-19 app or on paper records which you must keep securely for 21 days. If you keep records electronically yourself you need to register with ICO (chick costs £40 or £60 annually) and put up a GDPR statement or you may use a third party. We are considering developing an app for registering visitors so please register below and we can keep you informed of our progress.
Please see our blog for more information on your compliance requirements and for links to government and third party resources including apps.
Please provide your email below if are interested in our registration app
Your checklist is as follows:
- Get a QR Code for the NHS Covid App.
- Create paper records for each customer visit and keep for 21 days.
- If you store your own electronic records - register with ICO and put up a GDPR notice on your website.
- Keep records securely and do not use for your own marketing.
We have a sample GRPR notice coped from the government site available here or as a word document for you to modify.
